Water woes – I

My deceased heart profusely bleeds, At the mangled sight of fury of floods. When I seriously think of water needs, On bureaucratic lines to raise crop seeds, Of countless research lab’s best breeds, The potential hall-mark of scientific lots, To wipe the tears and plight of have-nots, Which never gets reduced or solved, As excessive and successive monsoons, Bury poor man’s live-stock and harvest boons, Leaving prowling journalists to unearth The untold miseries of victims and scenes of death, Which others witness with style on TV talk shows, Shedding emotional tears amidst flash glows.
